We are extremely proud of the 2015 Estate Pinot Noir, one of the finest wines we have produced. Soft and velvety, this wine embodies the characteristics of the finest Pinot noir: ripe plum, raspberry, and dark cherry. The gentle bouquet conjures violet and very subtle hints of vanilla. Smooth and well balanced, the 2015 is an ideal partner for most cuisine. Although exceptional for drinking now, our grapes are blessed with well balanced acid, making this vintage ideal for aging. This wine was awarded a 2018 San Francisco Chronicle Gold Medal.
We picked from August 22-27 at 24.1 degrees Brix, 1.1 total acidity, and 3.1 pH. The wine rested for nearly two years in 60 gallon Francois Freres oak barrels. There are only 101 cases.
$44 per bottle, $449 per case, Alc. 14.2% by volume.
